Health and Wellness Event

February 7, 2016

WOD teen girls Brianna, Tatyanna, Musique, and Shakeema attended the health and wellness event at Rutgers University-Camden on the evening of Feb 3, 2016.  Hosted by the Camden Area Health Education Center, the girls were mesmerized by the message of keynote speaker and award-winning actress, singer and activist, Sheryl Lee Ralph.  Taking responsibility for one’s own health and well-being resonated with the girls.  Ralph, a 1975 graduate of Rutgers University and a member of its Distinguished Hall of Alumni, is perhaps best known for her role as Deidre “Dee Mitchell” on the sitcom Moesha from 1996 to 2001.
