Life skills is a term used to describe a set of basic skills acquired through learning and/or direct life experience that enable young people to effectively handle issues and problems commonly encountered in daily life. And in a constantly changing environment, having life skills is an essential part of being able to meet the challenges of everyday life. The life skills program serves girls enrolled in middle and high schools in Camden, NJ schools. The curriculum includes financial literacy, stress management, family relationships, intimate partner relationships, health and wellness, and other relevant topics.
