Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

January 19, 2016

January 18, 2016 was a day of service in celebration of the birthday of Martin Luther King.  Six WOD girls braved the cold to feed the homeless at the Rand Transportation Center in Camden.  Engaging young people in community service is extremely empowering and emotionally fulfilling.  As one teen participant said, “I feel good knowing I am helping somebody who needs help.”
