Brittain’s 2021 Scholarship Award
Deborah Brittain established the Brittain Foundation in the name of her late husband, Willard Brittain, who had an illustrious career in finance and later focused his energies on entrepreneurism and philanthropy. The Foundation partners with several organizations to provide funding to support students in college and to give them leadership skills for success. Deborah is a native of Arlington, Virginia, and holds a Master’s Degree from the Simmons School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree from Howard University
Women of the Dream is pleased to partner with the Brittain Foundation for this year’s scholarship event. The inaugural awardee of the four-year scholarship from the Brittain Foundation is Zhamina Faulkner who will attend Barnard College in New York City in the fall. Congratulations, Zhamina!
