Women of the Dream held its annual STEM Conference for girls May 12th on the campus of Drexel University in Philadelphia! What a day! Close to 100 girls were exposed to careers in STEM in the areas of medicine, nursing, veterinary medicine, engineering, chemistry, web design, and mathematics! All workshops and panel discussions were conducted by successful women of color in STEM. A shout out to Dr. Karen Correa, engineer Tanya Brown Jackson, Dr. Brittney Purnell, Nurse Mara Kettle, and all the others that made the day memorable.
