For the third year in a row, Women of the Dream provided a little over $1000 in cash to the girls in the Life Skills Program for holiday shopping for themselves and their families. This past holiday season, the girls were treated to a sit-down lunch followed by a shopping spree at the Cherry Hill mall in Cherry Hill, NJ. The cash gifts send a powerful message of appreciation to these young ladies for their determination to remain engaged academically and with WOD despite the ongoing challenges that they face on a daily basis.
Additionally, gift bags with holiday goodies, hygiene and beauty supplies were provided by Dr. Karen Correa of Mullica Hills, NJ. Transportation to and from the mall was provided by Jonathan Leath, Pastor at the Converge Church in Moorestown.
