WE DID IT! MATCH CHALLENGE ENDS!
- $17,434 of $15,000 raised
Dear Donor,
On behalf of the girls enrolled in Women of the Dream, thank you to our Anonymous donor who challenged WOD to dream bigger! An Anonymous Simmons University alumna challenged Women of the Dream to raise $10,000 in 30 days to receive her matching donation of $10,000! We accepted the challenge and reached out to sister alums and friends for donations. You responded! By June 26, 2019, WOD had exceeded the $10,000 goal with a total of $12,906 in donations from sister alums and friends! Our Anonymous Donor increased her match donation to $15,000, if WOD raised $15,000 by July 1! Thanks to our Match donors, WOD raised $17,434 by July 1. The Match Challenge total of $32,434 represents the highest amount ever contributed by individual donors within a 30 day period in our history!
Over the past three years, WOD has awarded scholarships totaling $34,500 to thirteen girls from Camden, NJ. Match Challenge donations will benefit 2019 graduating seniors with a $3,000 college scholarship, and help WOD girls currently in college to reduce their financial burden.
Although the Match Challenge is over, we welcome donations throughout the year. Visit our General Donation Page to contribute. All donations are tax-deductible, and upon making your donation, you will receive a letter for your tax records.
Thank you fellow dreamers for your donation!
Sincerely,
Leslie A. Morris
