Executive Leadership

Tasha M. Humphrey, MPA
Chief Executive Officer
A Camden native, Tasha’s passion for youth advocacy and educational equity is deeply rooted in her personal journey. As the eldest daughter in her family, she navigated the challenges of becoming a single teenage mother to two daughters. Refusing to let circumstances define her future, Tasha became a first-generation college student, ultimately earning an Associate Degree from Camden County College, a Bachelor’s Degree from Rowan University, and an Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) from Rutgers University. She also holds an Executive Leadership Certificate, further solidifying her expertise in organizational strategy and growth.
Tasha’s lived experience serves as a powerful testament to the life-changing impact of mentorship, education, and community support. Throughout her career, she has served in roles that impact student advocacy, family engagement, and social-emotional counseling.
She is proud to lead Women of the Dream to its new chapter.
Honoring Our Founder: As Tasha steps into this role, she extends a special thank you to founding CEO Leslie Morris, whose incredible vision, passion, and dedication built the very foundation of Women of the Dream. Leslie’s legacy of uplifting young women will always be the heartbeat of this organization as we journey into this next chapter.
